Absence of Engaging Words

Long winded post as a warning in advance.
I've been finally reunited with my beloved magazine Dazed and Confused. Even though March's issue is devoted to the model of Arizona Muse and almost half of it is literally her portfolio and the other half most adverts, there are still chunks of readable paragraphs scattered on pages and also a fair bit of intriguing articles.
One of them was of an artist who goes by the stage name of Toro Y Moi and his real name being Chazwick Bundick. (Is it only me or is Chazwick a rather crazy name that you'd love to have? Yeah, thought so - just me)
He's somewhat of a chillwave artist and surprisingly, his pieces are quite relaxing even though his sounds are filled with the weird and wonderful noises. On the other hand some may find it annoying and become bored a third way into it. So I'll leave you with a clip to decide, either love or hate.

'I'm always the one who chooses to go back to the hotel rather than party'

Also in this issue of D&C, there's an interesting article about the adaption of author Joe Dunthorne's novel Submarine into a film of the same title directed by comedian Richard Ayoade (must be one of my favorites).
So if you haven't checked this issue out or even Dazed and Confused, it's a must and a definite for the near future! (www.dazeddigital.com or purchase le magazine - £3.95)

Must fit this in because during Friday night browsing I found this by LA band La Sera. They may sound similar to Best Coast but this tune is priceless. On the contrary it's rather repetitive however the video's quite amusing.

PEACE OUT
